The Analyst role is a broadly based role with responsibilities across both the Finance and Strategy & Business Development teams. The Finance team is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the Company. The Strategy & Business Development team works across the Miramax organization to lead and evaluate corporate and strategic opportunities and ideas, including partnerships and acquisitions, as well as helping to formulate and implement new content initiatives.
The Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs will be responsible for the negotiation of deals for the development, production, distribution, acquisition and marketing of television programs and feature films produced by Miramax and seeing those deals through to conclusion of the drafting and negotiation of the resulting agreements, including, among others: talent, producer/creator, underlying rights, license, co-production, and digital media agreements. The ideal candidate must be able to function independently and to handle a high volume of deals, matters and agreements to support Miramax’s growing television and feature film businesses.
