Position Title: Fall 2013 Digital Marketing Intern – Part Time Unpaid Internship
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Reporting To: Director, Brand Marketing & Corporate Communications
Schedule
- Available: September 2013, but interviewing & selecting NOW
- Duration of Internship: 1 Semester or 2 Quarters
- Days & Hours: Flexible: Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm (20-30 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Researching and creating social content including gathering photos, videos and other assets
- Perform continuous enhancements and modifications to social media pages
- Work with Director of Digital Marketing to implement targeted ads using Facebook Ad Manager and Google AdWords
- Record and monitor digital performance using online tools and internal analysis systems
- Identify opportunities to grow social reach, increase fan interaction and drive traffic
- Monitor social media for specific trends and news and make recommendations on how the company can best leverage this information
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in school and able to provide proof of school credit as this is an unpaid internship
- Great communication, time management and organizational skills with a sense of responsibility and ownership
- Creative, team player, self-starter and social media savvy
- Proficient in Office Suite with strong Internet and research skills
- Previous internship experience a plus
- Prefer communications, media, marketing and digital related college majors
- Junior/Senior Level
