LONDON and SANTA MONICA, CA, March 29, 2012 – Global film and television studio Miramax and Britain’s branded multichannel broadcaster UKTV today announced a licensing agreement under which a number of the studio’s hit films will be made available to UKTV subscribers across its basic pay and DTT channels. UKTV in the UK and Ireland is now offering a wide range of Miramax’s award-winning and crowd-pleasing films across its channels. The announcement was made by Miramax’s Danny Goldman, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales, Europe, and Alexandra Finlay, Head of Acquisitions and Co Productions, UKTV.
