Mathilde Rottier Is Promoted to Vice President, Worldwide TV; Astrid De Berardinis, Alexandra Tullberg and Stuart Shaw Join as Sales Directors
Santa Monica, CA, March 29, 2012 – Miramax today announced the expansion of its global sales team. Mathilde Rottier has been named as Vice President, Worldwide Television, Stuart Shaw joins as Director, International Sales and Marketing, and Astrid De Berardinis and Alexandra Tullberg have also been appointed as Directors of Sales. All appointments are effective immediately.

They will serve as key sales liaisons with European and Middle Eastern providers as we introduce our lasting and modern films to many territories for the first time.”
Rottier will be based at Miramax’s headquarters in Santa Monica and will cover select territories worldwide and select digital partners as well. Previously, Rottier was Vice President, MGM Worldwide TV Group. She also served as Executive Director at MGM TV Europe in London and Paris. She holds a BA from U.C. Berkeley.
Shaw will be responsible for maximizing and coordinating international sales and marketing activities and will be based at Miramax’s London sales office. Previously, Shaw worked for Paramount Home Entertainment as Commercial Director, APAC, and Commercial Manager, EMEA. He was Senior Product Manager for Universal Pictures and Acting Format Sales Director for BBC Worldwide. Shaw was National Account Manager at Universal Pictures and Assistant Brand Manager for Proctor and Gamble. He holds a Diploma from Middlesex University.
De Berardinis will serve European territories including France, Italy, and Spain and will be based at Miramax’s London sales office. She comes to Miramax from CBS Studios in Rome, where she was Director of Sales. Prior to that, De Berardinis served as Manager, Sales Administration at CBS Studios International after beginning her career with Paramount International Television.
Tullberg will serve European territories including the UK and Nordic region and will be based at Miramax’s London sales office. Prior to joining Miramax, Tullberg served as Regional Sales Manager, Europe for Paramount Pictures in London. Previously, she spent eight years at Fox Kids Europe as Head of Marketing.
At this year’s MIPTV, Miramax will expand its exhibiting space and is located in the Lerins Hall (LR4.22).
