Antena 3 today announced the completion of a new licensing deal for Miramax movies. Under the terms of the agreement, Antena 3 has secured rights to a number of iconic films in the Miramax library including Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Chocolat and The Boy In The Striped Pajamas.  The movies will air on Antena 3 and its digital channels in Spain.

Miramax and the Samuel Goldwyn Jr. Family Trust today announced that Miramax’s Global Sales team will manage global licensing of the library produced by the legendary Samuel Goldwyn.  Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.

Global film and television studio Miramax and Sky Italia, Italy’s leading pay TV platform, today announced  a new movie deal under which Sky Italia will air many of the leading titles  from Miramax’s unmatched collection across all of Sky Italia’s pay television channels in Italy.  The agreement was announced at MIPTV 2012 this week in Cannes, France.

Miramax said today that its CEO, Mike Lang, has informed the company that he is resigning.   Lang has agreed to remain a consultant to the company as it searches for a successor.

Santa Monica, CA, March 15, 2012 – Miramax today announced two new additions to its International Sales team. Marna Grantham has been named Senior Vice President, Domestic and Latin America Sales, reporting to Joe Patrick, Head of Worldwide Sales. Gloria Lee has been named Director, Digital Sales, reporting to Beth Minehart, Head of Global Digital. Both appointments are effective immediately.
