Last month, we wrote about a stirring speech that Charlie Kaufman delivered last year, as part of BAFTA’s Screenwriters’ Lecture Series. It was, ostensibly, a speech about screenwriting, but its message resonated far beyond the realm of cinema, as the above film so beautifully demonstrates. Produced by Eliot Rausch and Phos Pictures, “What I have to Offer” takes arguably the most powerful excerpt from Kaufman’s speech, and sets it to a montage of sometimes unbearably moving images.
