Chat on your cellphone in most movie theaters and you'll probably hear snickers or terse rebukes. But if you disturb the peace during a screening at the Prince Charles Cinema, you'll face the wrath of a ninja. As the BBC reports, the renowned London theater has begun enlisting volunteer "cinema ninjas" to dress up in full body suits, infiltrate screenings, and (gently) reprimand misbehaving moviegoers. The Prince Charles Cinema's Paul Vickery says the initiative was launched at the urging of theater patrons who wanted to do more to curb cellphone chatter and other distractions. The idea isn't to terrify moviegoers, but to remind them of cinema etiquette in a lighthearted fashion. And thus far, the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
