FILMography is a site that takes a unique twist on location scouting. Launched earlier this year, the site features photos of iconic movie stills set against their original, real world location. Above, for instance, is a still from Woody Allen’s Manhattan (1979), photographed in the exact same spot it was originally shot — in this case, under the Queensboro Bridge in New York. The majority of FILMography’s photos are shot in New York (see the Serendipity still below), though there are exceptions, including one image from a bar scene in Good Will Hunting (below).
