In 1994, Quentin Tarantino sat down with future Daily Show host Jon Stewart to discuss his breakthrough film, Pulp Fiction. During the segment, Tarantino discussed his unique approach to writing gangster dialogue, while hinting at his long-standing affection for Pam Grier, future star of Jackie Brown. He also said he would’ve loved to act in a film by Sergio Leone — the legendary Italian director who pioneered the Spaghetti Western genre that, ten years later, would inspire Kill Bill.
