In August, Rob Ager published a video analysis of three deleted scenes from Reservoir Dogs, as part of his ongoing Collative Learning series. The scenes, pulled from a special-edition DVD release, offer differing levels of detail, though in Ager's opinion, the most important is the last one, in which we see Mr. Orange (Tim Roth) prepare for his undercover assignment in his apartment. Here, Ager points out, Tarantino introduces visual cues and symbols that would prove significant later on in the film. In another scene, we're introduced to what would have been the film's only female character, who offers details on Mr. White (Harvey Keitel) and his sordid past. All told, these scenes would've extended the film's length by about ten minutes.
