The highly anticipated Curandero: Dawn of the Demon is now available for the first time ever. The film is an action-packed horror flick that takes a couple on a horrifying journey through the deepest bowels of the Mexican underworld.
Robert Rodriguez wrote the original screenplay and executive produced the horror flick which stars Carlos Gallardo. Gallardo also starred in Rodriguez’s first feature film El Mariachi as well as Grindhouse and Desperado. It is a must-see for any Robert Rodriguez fan or film buff as noted in a review that came out today.
I don’t care what Robert Rodriguez is involved with, I want in on it whatever it is. The man is a genius when it comes to filmmaking and I love almost everything he’s done thus far. He’s a master of using a limited budget to its fullest extent, as well as a maestro of action and mayhem. Curandero: Dawn of the Demon is a perfect example of both. Fun and scary as hell, this film will take you on a dark journey that you won’t soon forget.
A commentary with Director Eduardo Rodriguez and Director of Photography Jaime Reynoso is also included in the film’s special features.
