Quentin Tarantino may not have a film in theaters right now but that's not keeping him out of the news. It started in back in April when Tarantino surprised everyone by directing a live reading of his leaked and once shelved script, The Hateful Eight. He brought out his celebrity cast and spent the evening with 1200 lucky fans at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. We were lucky enough to attend, so if you missed this historic event, check out the recap here.

Yesterday, one of his Hateful cast members, Kurt Russell, mentioned to the press that the film may go into production early 2015. If all things move forward, it's possible the next big bloody QT affair will be in theaters by Christmas 2015. We'll keep you posted.

If you're attending Comic Con in less than two weeks, you could end up in the same room as Tarantino. It was just announced that he will be on the Dynamite Panel to talk about the project Django Meets Zorro and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dynamite Comics.
