Whitney, the documentary feature from Oscar®-winning director Kevin Macdonald on pop icon Whitney Houston, released together with Roadside Attractions in the U.S. on July 6; Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, which MIRAMAX produced with Trancas International Films and Blumhouse Productions and co-financed with Blumhouse Productions, and which will be released by Universal on October 19th; and Guy Ritchie’s next film, expected to start production in October 2018.
MIRAMAX’s unrivaled library of more than 700 titles has received 278 Academy Award® nominations and 68 Oscars®, earning most notably four Best Picture awards for The English Patient, Shakespeare in Love, Chicago and No Country for Old Men.
