LOS ANGELES, CA – Bill Block, CEO of Miramax, announced today that Amy Mastriona has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Film Production. Mastriona comes to Miramax with a strong background in creative advertising and marketing from her tenure at Paramount Pictures where she was an EVP. Mastriona will be joining Miramax as part of its new focus towards growing its footprint with creative storytellers across a substantial production platform.

Amy Mastriona joined Paramount Pictures in February 2009 as SVP of Creative Advertising and was promoted to EVP in two short years. As Executive Vice President of Creative Advertising, she has overseen the creative campaigns for over 40 films in a wide variety genres, such as the franchises of Paranormal Activity; Mission Impossible; and Star Trek, as well as Transformers: Age of Extinction, Thor, Daddy's Home, Selma and Arrival.

Before joining Paramount, Amy was VP, Creative Advertising, for Screen Gems. She joined the Screen Gems marketing team in 1999 and during those nine years worked on all marketing campaigns for the Screen Gems and TriStar slate, including the successful Underworld and Resident Evil franchises. Amy began her career in film marketing at Fox Searchlight Pictures in 1998.
