In 2020, Ayano joined Miramax as Executive Vice President of Compliance. Ayano has extensive experience in the entertainment industry. She began her career at MGM Studios where she worked for over 15 years, including in MGM's theatrical business and legal affairs department, and then as an executive in the MGM Worldwide Television Group. Ayano also served as general counsel for an entertainment start-up company. She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University and USC Law School.
